The drought of 2006 continues into November entering its 9th month.  As of the end of the month,
the US Drought Monitor analazed the drought to increase to D2 or Severe Drought as it has been
D1/Moderate Drought up til the 28th.  This represents the highest in the 9th month period.  
The rainfall was -1.50" below normal for the month but increased to -10.19" for the year.  
Overall, the month featured an avg. temp cooler than normal and very little rain with frequent
dry frontal passages.
