June was slightly below normal for temp. and way above normal for rainfall.
The rainfall can be attributed to two things, Tropical Storm Arlene during
the 2nd weekend and tropical moisture straight from the Tropical Eastern Pacific
the last week of the month which produced 9.37" of rain. The highest peak gust
so far this year was recorded from a thunderstorm on 6/21, which was 40 mph/w a
1-min avg of 25 mph. A 10-min period of 0.75" to 1" hail was also observed
during this thunderstorm.
