July was above normal for both temperature and rainfall, with rainfall continuing to remain well
above normal for the year. First 100º day was reached for the first time in 3 summers & set a
new record for the day too. Set a new all-time record high dew point of 82.2 on the 11th.
Hurricane Dennis affected the area from the 8th to 11th with a peak gust to 30 mph on 7/11
& 1.48" of rain in rain bands during the period as it moved parallel to the FL West Coast
making landfall on the 10th in Penascola.
